Behind the steering wheel sits a 12.3-inch driver display. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto work through a wired USB connection, and phones can charge wirelessly.

Sound is where the trims split. Volvo's High Performance audio system fills the Core cabin, Harman Kardon Premium Sound and its air-ventilated subwoofer serve Plus and Ultra, and Bowers & Wilkins is the available step beyond. The 2027 Volvo XC90 carries the design introduced for model year 2025.5: a reshaped grille, fenders, bumper and hood, plus dark-tinted taillights. Matrix-design LED headlights play a welcome sequence as you approach. The body measures 195.0 inches long on a 117.5-inch wheelbase. A power tailgate and keyless entry come standard.

Twenty-inch alloys come on Core and 21-inch wheels on Plus and Ultra, with 22-inch 7-Double Spoke wheels available.
