Heated front seats are standard on every XC60, with eight power adjustments and lumbar support for the driver and front passenger, plus driver memory that recalls seat and mirror positions with your key. Ventilation, a ten-point massage function and power cushion extensions are available for longer legs and longer drives.

Core and Plus cars wear quilted Nordico, the leather alternative Volvo makes from recycled material, in Charcoal or Cardamom. The Ultra brings ventilated Nappa leather in Charcoal or Blond, a tailored dashboard with contrasting seams and four-zone climate control, while decor inlays run from Natural Driftwood to Metal Mesh aluminum.

The 11.2-inch center display anchors the dash in a vertical layout, with the controls you use most fixed along the bottom edge. Google built-in handles navigation, voice and apps through Google Maps, Google Assistant or Gemini and Google Play, with four years of data included, and a 12.3-inch driver display shows either a Calm view or a map.

Sound starts with ten speakers and 220 watts. The Ultra steps up to Harman Kardon Premium Sound, 14 speakers and 600 watts with a subwoofer built into the rear wheel housing, and a Bowers & Wilkins system with 15 speakers, 1,410 watts and four acoustic modes is available. Four USB-C ports and a 15-watt wireless charging pad keep devices topped up.

Behind the rear seats the B5 mild hybrid holds 17.1 cubic feet, or 21.6 loaded to the roof, and folding the 40/60 split backrests flat opens 63.3 cubic feet. A through-hatch in the center rear seat takes long items like skis or fishing rods while two passengers stay seated in back.

The power tailgate opens hands-free with a kick under the bumper and can be set to stop at a height that clears a low garage. Up front, a roll-top cover hides console storage, and there are two cupholders plus a slot sized for a slim can.
